Submission Guidelines

The Journal of Emerging Technologies and Applications invites authors to submit their manuscripts for consideration for publication. Please follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth submission process.

1. General Submission Requirements

1.1 Manuscript Type: The Journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  • Original Research Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Case Studies
  • Technical Notes

1.2 Language: All manuscripts must be written in English.

1.3 File Formats: Manuscripts should be submitted in either Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or LaTeX format. Figures and tables should be included within the manuscript file.

1.4 Length: Manuscripts should conform to the following length guidelines:

  • Original Research Articles: 4000-7000 words
  • Review Articles: 6000-10000 words
  • Case Studies: 2000-4000 words
  • Technical Notes: 2000-4000 words

1.5 Cover Letter: Authors must submit a cover letter along with their manuscript. The cover letter should include:

  • A statement confirming that the manuscript is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • A brief summary of the manuscript’s content.
  • The corresponding author's contact details.
  • Any conflicts of interest.

1.6 Author Contributions: Authors must list their specific contributions to the manuscript (e.g., conceptualization, data analysis, writing, etc.).

2. Manuscript Structure

2.1 Title: The title should be concise, clear, and informative. It should not exceed 15 words.

2.2 Abstract: A concise abstract (maximum 250 words) should clearly summarize the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the study. The abstract should not include references to figures, tables, or references.

2.3 Keywords: Provide 4-6 keywords that represent the main topics or focus of the manuscript.

2.4 Main Text:

  • Introduction: Provide the background, context, and objectives of the research.
  • Materials and Methods: Describe the methodology, including experiments, models, or simulations used.
  • Results: Present the main findings of the research clearly and objectively. Tables, figures, and charts should be used to summarize data.
  • Discussion: Discuss the implications of the results, how they compare with previous work, and their potential applications.
  • Conclusion: Summarize the findings and their significance. Suggestions for future work can also be included.

2.5 Figures and Tables:

  • All figures and tables must be referred to in the text.
  • Figures should be in high-resolution (300 dpi or higher), and submitted as separate image files (e.g., JPEG, TIFF, PNG).
  • Tables should be included in the manuscript file itself.
  • Provide concise captions for all figures and tables.

2.6 References:

  • All references should be cited in the APA citation style (author, year) in the text.
  • References should be listed at the end of the manuscript in alphabetical order.
  • Ensure all references are complete and accurate.

Example format:

  • Journal Article: Smith, J. (2020). Title of the paper. Journal Name, 15(3), 123-145.
  • Book: Brown, P. (2018). Title of the Book. Publisher Name.

2.7 Acknowledgments: Any financial support, sponsorship, or contributions from individuals or institutions should be acknowledged at the end of the manuscript.

3. Ethical Considerations

3.1 Ethical Approval: Authors must state whether ethical approval was obtained for research involving human participants or animals. Include the name of the ethics committee, the approval number, and any relevant information.

3.2 Plagiarism: The Journal uses plagiarism detection tools to screen submitted manuscripts. Authors must ensure that their work is original and appropriately cited. Manuscripts found to have plagiarized content will be rejected.

3.3 Conflict of Interest: Authors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest, including financial interests, personal relationships, or affiliations that may influence the research or manuscript.

4. Submission Process

4.1 Online Submission: Manuscripts must be submitted through the Journal’s online submission system. Submissions sent via email will not be accepted.

4.2 Submission Checklist:

  • The manuscript file is in Word or LaTeX format.
  • The manuscript follows the structure and formatting guidelines.
  • All figures and tables are included within the manuscript or uploaded as separate files.
  • A cover letter is included.
  • A completed Conflict of Interest statement is provided.
  • Ethical approval (if applicable) is clearly stated.

4.3 Revisions: If a manuscript is accepted with revisions, authors must address all reviewer comments and resubmit the revised manuscript within the specified time frame.

5. Peer Review Process

5.1 Double-Blind Peer Review: All manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process, where both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other.

5.2 Reviewer Comments: Authors will receive reviewer comments and must revise their manuscript accordingly. The revised manuscript should be submitted with a response to reviewer comments, detailing the changes made.

5.3 Acceptance: Once the manuscript passes the peer review and revision stages, the authors will be notified of its acceptance. The manuscript will then undergo final editing and formatting for publication.

6. Publication Fees

6.1 Open Access Fees: The Journal operates under an Open Access model. Authors will be required to pay a publication fee upon acceptance of their manuscript. The fee will cover the costs of editing, publishing, and archiving.
