Author Guidelines
The Journal of Emerging Technologies and Applications welcomes
submissions of original research articles, review papers, case studies,
and technical notes that contribute to the advancement of emerging
technologies and their practical applications. Authors are encouraged to
follow the guidelines below to ensure smooth submission, peer review,
and publication processes.
Types of Submissions
- Original Research Articles: Reports of original research that contribute new knowledge or innovative solutions in emerging technology fields.
- Review Articles:
Comprehensive surveys of current research trends, methodologies, and
future directions in specific areas of emerging technologies.
- Case Studies: Practical applications of emerging technologies in real-world settings, highlighting challenges and successes.
- Technical Notes: Short reports on recent developments, innovations, or experiments in emerging technology applications.
Manuscript Preparation
Manuscript Length:
- Research Articles: 4000-7000 words
- Review Articles: 6000-10000 words
- Case Studies and Technical Notes: 2000-4000 words
Formatting:
- Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word or LaTeX format.
- Font: Times New Roman, 12-point.
- Line Spacing: 1.5 lines.
- Margins: 1 inch on all sides.
- Text alignment: Justified.
- Page Numbers: Numbered consecutively in the footer.
Title: The title should be concise, informative, and clearly reflect the content of the paper. It should be no longer than 15 words.
Abstract:
The abstract should summarize the main findings and contributions of
the paper in no more than 250 words. It should include the objective,
methodology, results, and conclusion.
Keywords:
Provide 4-6 keywords that represent the main topics of the paper. These
keywords will help in indexing and improving discoverability.
Figures and Tables:
- All figures and tables should be clearly labeled and referred to in the text.
- Figures should be in high resolution (300 dpi or higher) and embedded within the manuscript. Please ensure that all graphs, charts, and images are legible.
- Tables should be formatted without vertical lines, and each table should have a brief descriptive title.
References:
- References should be cited in the APA style (author, year). Example: "Smith, J. (2020). Title of the paper. Journal Name, 15(3), 123-145."
- All references should be included at the end of the manuscript in alphabetical order.
Submission Process
Initial Submission:
- Authors should submit their manuscript via the journal’s online submission system.
- A cover letter should
accompany the manuscript, stating the originality of the work, any
conflicts of interest, and the corresponding author’s contact
information.
Peer Review:
- All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure fairness and objectivity.
- Authors
may be required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback.
The revised manuscript must be resubmitted within the specified
timeframe.
Acceptance:
- Upon acceptance, authors will be notified, and the manuscript will undergo copyediting and formatting for publication.
- Authors may be asked to sign a Copyright Transfer Agreement upon acceptance.
Ethical Guidelines
- Plagiarism: Submissions must be free from plagiarism. Manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection tools.
- Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the research outcomes.
- Ethical Approval:
Research involving human participants or animals must have appropriate
ethical approval, and the relevant approval number should be stated in
the manuscript.
- Data Availability: Authors are encouraged to share data and supplementary materials upon request to facilitate transparency and reproducibility.
Publication Fees
- Open Access:
The journal follows an open-access model, and authors will be required
to pay a publication fee once their manuscript is accepted. Please check
the journal's website for the latest fee structure.
Copyright
- Authors
retain the copyright of their work but agree to grant the journal the
right to publish the article in any format (print, online, etc.).
